Thanks to this forum and especially "Shagnasty" and "SBates08". Decided to take the plunge. I have ordered the KST Customs Mayhem bars (12in). Was struggling between 12s and 14s. Hope I made the right choice. They should be in soon. The reason for this post- Does anyone have any recommendations for black levers and mirrors? Was considering some sort of short stem mirror mounted to the bars.
When I upgraded to my 10" PY Monkey Bagger Bars I also looked around for black levers and mirrors. Although I have most of the black HD Tribal stuff on my bike I didn't really dig the tribal mirrors. I ended up just going with the stock HD short stem black mirrors and the HD black levers. I prefer to stick with the OEM HD stuff. They look great (to me). My MBB's are gloss black and the HD mirrors and levers are more of a satin black but tie in nicely to the satin black switch housing. I don't even notice the difference anymore.
I wasn't so much after a defined look with the tribal mirrors, just black and more outside my shoulder line than the stock units, the MOCO keeps putting the old style basic aluminum levers on our bikes with all black control covers and switches, I just felt the clack levers another better looking against the bike, almost went full chrome but cost said no.
I went with Kurakyan's black Scythe mirrors that are w/s mounted (to your 3-bolts on shield) and really like the low profile style. Here's the ones I got fm Dennis Kirk: https://www.denniskirk.com/kuryakyn/...prd/397318.sku
