I don't think the Road Kings have any adjustment like their predecessors (FLHS Electra Glide Sport) did. I had a 93 FLHS and as I recall there were 3 different heights you could set the windshield brackets at. There was also a smaller clear panel at the bottom of the windshield that could adjust as well. The MOCO evidently determined that the quick detach feature is more important than the height adjustability.

04 RK myself, 5'6", and I also looked through the top edge of the stock windshield. Sit up tall to look over it, slouch to look through it. I did not have buffeting problems.

I cut it down a few inches. While the cutting went fine and it let me look over it, the wind noise increased dramatically, and violent head buffeting was introducted. I was not a happy camper.

Replaced the windshield with the Harley tall unit. I look through it. All buffeting was eliminated, and I have a gentle breeze, regardless of speed. With this I have been very happy. VERY happy.

I chose the OEM Harley screen due to plastic shatter. National Cycle has a good video on the differences of the plastics. I also liked the clarity and surface hardness (scratch resistance) of the OEM Harley shield.

Another big fan of LRS. Awesome shields for the money. They may put their logo in a place other than where it belongs but great company to do business with. I have the Road King shield and several for the Memphis Shades fairing. The top of the shield should be level with your nose but call them to order right the first time. Great people to work with.

I HATE looking through a shield.
