Just a heads up if anyone is planning to order one of these anytime soon. I placed my order Sunday afternoon thinking I would see the shield being delivered sometime this week. I just received an order confirmation telling me that they are behind and SHIPPING should be in 5-6 WEEKS. Just sent an email back asking how their billing system works. If they don't bill you for the product until it ships, then I may just keep my order but if they want to bill now and ship later(June), cancel my order as I will look elsewhere. 5-6 WEEKS. YIKES [>:]
We ordered one for the 01 trike two weeks ago. I guess they don't keep much stock on hand, but that's the way many operate, as needed.
BTW, when the Loan officer's trike got rearended last Easter, it took 11 weeks to get a new trike body to the installer. They put it together overnight last June so we could get some riding in. We missed Billings, but got in week of the four we planned.
heres alink to another that has been found on one of the other sites I frequent...It to has the rolled lip and is made out of the same material that the H-D is made out of... http://www.fastaire.com/Aero.html
lot of good and positive reviews about there product...
Mine is on the UPS truck and should be here tomorrow.
I ordered it March 5th. It was going to ship last week but they discovered a scratch on it when packingand had another one made. They called me to let me know. Great customer service. I would say wait for it. I will let you know how mine looks tomorrow.
ORIGINAL: rollover

Same exact information here. Ordered mine on Sun and they said 5-6 weeks, hopefully more towards the 5 week time frame. Does anyone know if the shield comes with double sided tape or do I need to go out and buy it? Thanks
