I dunno about this engine choice, man, you're going to get really bad gas mileage.

Mine came in last week not counting on this bike for a every day Rider nor my 145 Pro charged bike . I do think many should consider the fact your not buying a touring engine but a Race engine mileage will suffer and driveabity but the seat of the pants theres no comparing...

I may split the case and open the rear up using a Gig to allow not running the oil line set, have drilled two trannys before no big deal but just two more exposed lines if you look at the rear you can see were its not machined the oil feeds are on the bottom of the case and then to the tranny...

I bought the complete set up including there PC5 and injectors will see once on the dyno if we can get 160-170 out of it.. Numbers are all over the place on this engine I have a 250I so dyno work will be the key.

Very impressive looking engines.
Surely would love to see the dyno numbers.

The last project I never posted the final product a custom S&S 145 built by Star racing using 120r cases and B-2 heads, procharger with mim clearance work to fab to fit this 08 RG.

The 143 is going in its twin pulling the 120R out of it nice engine but 131 hp is a bit of a under achiever for it cubes...'

For those who have bought these has anyone considered machining the rear of the cases to avoid having the external oil line set and trans tapping?

Looking at mine it looks more than doable or trying to get S&S Tech to answer the phone to find out if sending back the engine it could be done there. Guess my bigger question is why for a drop in this wasn't done and what are the bennys to having external lines?

I have the gig plate to peform this task just seems again it would be much cleaner adding the Baker plus one oil pan makes the line set even tighter.
