Default Yaffe 12" Monkey Bar Install Help

Going to install 12" Monkey Bars on 07 Street glide. Can't decide what length clutch cable, throttle cable, idle cable and brake line to order. Was thinking +6" or maybe +4". Want to route cables in stock location. Any input would be appreciated.

I installed the same bars on my 08 SG and I believe I used +6" cables. I didn't extend any wiring.

I did not extend wires when I put them on Streetglide. I just relocated the plugs to under the radio in the fairing. I went with a +6 clutch and a +4 brake line. I could have gotten away with a +4 clutch cable. I used Mangum sterling chromite cable and line. I would suggest using a SE TBW. I have used that several times since. Pull TBW first then remaining wires.

Thanks for the info I wanted to make sure I'm able to run cables like stock. I don't have TBW I have throttle and idle cables. I'm gonna get the Magnum Chromite cables.

On my 07 SG.. no need to extend wires.. 6" upper brake cable & clutch cables and was good. Did replace throttle & ides cables too .. Tedious but well worth doing the work yourself: Service manual was the best thing I bought for my SG.
