I've tried a bunch. Best I used so far is a RAM Handlebar/Rail mount. It goes on and off easy. Holds a wide variety of sizes with or without the included cozy. All black so it blends in.
This is what I use. Have seen and tried a few but this one works. Can mount on the clutch lever clamp or has its own clamp. I like the one with its own clamp. http://www.kuryakyn.com/products/472...-drink-holders
Butler cup holders are huge.
I use nothing but kruzer kaddy cup holders. I use a perch mount but make it to sit up/down to fit better and just clear the tank. Just drill a hole and use a bolt. This also stops it from swinging around at times. http://www.kruzerkaddy.net/
I had a Kruzer Kaddy on my 2011. Hardly ever used it, and hated the way it looked even with the cup holder part stowed away. So now if I want a drink, I pull over and get the bottle of whatever out of the saddle bag.
