I use a ram mount as well. As far as power goes, look up Isimple polywire. It will give you power and 3.5mm jack to go into the AUX on the front of the radio then you wont need the blue tooth adapter.

When I tried to run a USB off the front power port it would mess with my radio. I have the HD Ipod controller now.

I use Ram for everything. For the phone I use the X-Grip. Used it with the iPhone 5 and now with my Galaxy S5. I power it from the back of the radio. I like the XGrip because it can be used with different devices. When I use the Garmin its powered from the accessory under the seat. You will be fine using the lighter.

Ram Xmount for me as well. Plus there mounting system is so easy to change between other vehicles.
