How to get this plastic piece off

Default How to get this plastic piece off
So I've got a console to mount onto the new RGS. Wondering how to get the plastic piece off so I can get it powder coated? Thinking its just held on with double stick tape?

If its on with tape, just get a hair dryer and slowed pull on it and it should pull right off, if needed fishing line helps it too

After you get the tape off, you will need to clean the part thoroughly before betting it powder coated.

How do you get the Com to unhook. I added the Com to mine and now I cant get it off when I need to remove the tank and remove the center console.

I think there's a ring underneath that screws off.
