Yes, more and more vehicles come with full synthetics from the factories, and this will continue. It is NOT a problem to switch to synthetics right away as it was in the past. The engine rings and seals are already seated before we even get the vehicles these days so the same even goes for break ins. The engines ARE well on their way to being broke in because of the tight tollerances they are built to now. In days gone by, engines were built with very loose tollerances and needed some time and care to properly seat the piston rings and seals to prevent oil burning froom blow-by. But not any more

Just do what makes you feel comfortable, I switch to full synthetics at the 600 mile mark and have never had a engine burn oil, or leak oil. They have all had plenty of power as well
