Well the friend who was gonna install them might not do it for me...he's actually a friend of a friend....I know of him but we don't run in the same circles....anyway I found another guy who might be able to install them for me to save me a few bucks, just waiting for him to call me back....I missed carlin is call back today , gonna call to morrow and see what the damage would be from them....ryan
Save yourself even more money, buy a manual and do it yourself.. Hell don't buy a manual and read the threads on here there's plenty of them.. It's not hard at all.. Take your time on a Saturday and enjoy the feeling of knowing your Harley
You know, I would like to be able to do it myself....and I know the basic things you have to do to install it....the things that worry me are stuff like bleeding the brakes, having the bars come loose while I'm on the highway!....I would be too nervous doing it myself....I know that sounds stupid....but....
Anyway I just got off the phone with a guy who is gonna do the install for me...he charges a fair price....and he said he'd measure the bars when I get them and tell me what size I need for the cables.....Ryan
Thanks for all the responses....I'll definitely post pics when everything is done....should hopefully be done in the next few weeks....gotta go order everything!
Tisk Tisk.. That's y u get a torque wrench. do u take meds for anxiety issues lol? Your gonna let 4 Allen bolts scare you out of money.. No amount is fair when it could be done for free.. Get ready for your next oil change.. It's not cheap but I'm sure it'll be fair for the people with deep pockets.. Wouldn't want that damn bolt to come loose
Ryan, Give me call and I'll help you with the cable kit, riser bushings, the molex pin tool and anything else that you need. I can offer you 10% off on these since you are a forum member. 512-337-7110
Thank you
Ron
