Default compensator
My dad needs a new compensator for his 07 Elecrtaglide Classic and only found the Screamen Eagle kit 401000061. His motor is stock so he doesn't need a high performance kit but is this all that's available? Does the SE kit have all the necessary parts besides the primary gasket and oil? Thanks!

It's not high performance.... just improved. As far as what it comes with, I don't know. Mine was replaced under warranty.

I just replaced my compensator on my 2009 with the SE one at 19,000 miles. You will also need to get the epoxy kit. Also make sure to check all of the teeth on the starter drive its common for the teeth to break off with a bad comp. and you cant buy just the gear or clutch basket you have to get the whole clutch assembly.

check out a thread dated6-30-2014 titled "2007 compensator -stopgap measure"
by nevets61 that is the route I'm gonna take here shortly. whole lot money saved and thats good for me. there is also another thread about replacing a 2007 compensator with very good pics. I'll look for that and maybe edit this comment. good luck
