Default Thundermax Software Compatibility

I have installed a Thundermax ECM on my Street Glide. It works great but I want to fiddle around with the software a bit. Unfortunately, I only have Macs and the software seems to be compatible with Windows.

What are you running the software on? Can I get away with just getting a Windows Tablet or do I have to get an actual PC? Trying to figure out the cheapest way to open this software.

Bootcamp or Parallels. But you'll still need a license for Windows

I wonder if we have anyone nearby to you...post your town or zip.

Maybe "I'm a PC" will offer to help you.

Ran into same problem. Bought a PC laptop for the ThunderMax instead of corrupting my Mac
And I only use the tuner on it.

Have people say the same about other hobbies/habits/lifestyle, including the Harley's I've had...

Probably easiest to get a refurbished PC. Best Buy has new ones for $230 that would probably work. You could also look for used computer stores in your neighborhood and pick up a used one for even less. Just make certain its specs exceed the minimum required for your software. This is help it keep from being obsolete too soon.

I only ever owned Macs, but wanted something a bit more portable that can stay in my bag at TSA checkpoints.

I bought the Surface Pro 3, small drive because it suits me for travel. The Surface Pro 2 is still a great deal and probably quite sufficient for what you would need.

You could do everything with or without a keyboard and mouse - touch screen.

I am not a big Windoze fan, but they got pretty close to mark with these machines.

What are the PC "minimum" requirements for the TMax unit?
