Default American Elite tires

Not sure I like my new tires, switched out my OEM tires and wheels with the Elite's. Bike feels nervous on the interstate now. I have always run a ribbed front tire, this is my 1st non ribbed tire. Anyone else switch from 402's to the Elite? Did they change how your bike tracked?

They changed mine for the better. Make sure you have the right pressure. If you were used to slightly deflated tires, ones with a full charge will make a huge difference.

I run them on mine and really like the way they handle on grooved pavement or the steel bridges. I have them inflated to 40 in the rear and 38 in the front

I am running them on my Street Glide.
I have nothing but good things to say about them.

Great handling in both wet and dry conditions.

My next set will also be American Elite.

I am on my second set. I really like them. They seem more responsive especially to the old worn out tires. If you compare new to new I bet they would be very close to the stock tires. Although I would give the nod to the Elites for better turning.

Check tire pressure, might felt squirrelly until they had the proper PSI.

'08 FLHT Elite 3 on front, American Elite on rear. Absolutely love them.About 6k on front, looks new. only about 5-6 hundred on rear, but really good. Bike feels much more planted when I get throttle happy in the curves. The responsiveness does take a little getting used to at first, but give them a little time, and you will wonder why you didn't try these sooner!

Once you get about 100 miles on them they will feel fine. I put an American Elite on the front last year and it did the same thing the first few times I rode.

I've run them on 5 or 6 bikes - No problems.

Just a few hundred miles on mine (American Elites) before winter, but noticed big change in ease of cornering. Kinda like it was on rails. My old 402s had tread left, so it was not as if I went from bald to new. Wish they offered a WWW.
