==================

Cams aside another thing to do when having idle issues with an EFI bike is to run good dose of a quality injector /intake valve cleaner like chevron's Techron (says Concentrated on front label) of 1.5oz per gal thru a couple tanks of fuel .

Could use proper throttle body cleaner to wipe down the throttle plate in the throttle body too.

Then after doing that you also need to run a good dose of a cat converter cleaner to then remove any carbon contam spit out the exhaust that get deposited on the 02 sensors .

Many people overlook running the cat cleaner to remove carbon & or contam after running Chevron's Techron concentrated combustion chamber/injector cleaner which is key to enusre all carbon/contamination is removed from the 02's which is very important to do.

I have been doing this to all the 4 EFI cars in the family a minimum of 1x yrly which helps keep them funning better at max mpg with all of the cars going 200k+ miles without ever having to replace injector or 02 sensor on any of the EFI cars in family in many yrs and tons of miles,work for me.

Poor idle at times could possibly be an issue with an intake leak ,plug wire-s,a plug,coil etc.

i love this thread... its like saying i need air in my tire.... so lets cut and rake the neck and install 30'' wheel lol i love your thinking.

i agree w/ many who say to look into 107 kit. i would first pinpoint the cause of your problem because chances are it'll need fixed either way.

i can understand, i needed to change oil in my fat boy so went to dealer to grab oil filter and left with a street glide... but at least i saved money by not buying an oil filter

The best cam in the world will not perform to its full capability without a good tune, so a dyno at the end by a good reputable tuner is highly recommended. Also, if your looking to do a 103" upgrade...why not go 107" by Fuelmoto, they have an entire kit available for a pretty good price.
New to the upgrades such as this, can you really go 96 to 107?? Just by a kit?

Kit means comes with all the parts. Still lots of work and other cash to spend.
