Glad someone remembers me, as I've been quiet lately. I still have the same old bike, it's the way I want it and needs nothing new (IMO), and I thus haven't been doing any upgrades. Thanks to you and Bikerlaw for the kudos.
Really good seeing this post Hoss.
Whenever I see your historic fork fluid change, 255, or any of your troubleshooting threads come up, I always think...wonder how iclick is doing...
Gets me thinking about PhilM, Draggin Baggers, 4" clampless pipes, and all those threads back in the day. lol

It feels good to hear from the old guard, LP. I'm still here and riding, though not as much in the past two years. I bought a C6 Corvette two years ago and suddenly driving became the preferred method of travel. Two weeks ago I traded that one in on a C7 and I'll probably be even more of a cager than before, at least in the near term, but the bike won't gather cobwebs. It usually gets ridden at least once per week even in winter, and only rain interrupts that schedule.

We did a lot of upgrading back then and this was/is the place to share the experiences. Hard as it may be to imagine, I can't think of anything to do to this bike now, but I said that six months ago before that little talk with Jamie about mufflers, so who knows?
Hmmmmm, your description of what a TC motor with SE255 cams sounds like with 4" Jackpots is much more descriptive and accurate than what I have managed to put down in writing, and it's right on the money. I expected it would be! Glad you have done this and given us a review. I intended to call FM before Christmas and discuss this very thing with him. I've even considered going the 2 into 1 route. Good to see you on here again, and thanks for the timely topic (for me anyway)!

Old friends are popping up everywhere! I haven't been to AR since Aug. 2013 when we last touched base, in the car that time, but I'm sure we'll be back again on the bikes, probably one nice October week. Beautiful country up there, great roads--and our favorite for its proximity to us. Did you retire from the troopers yet? Still driving the 18-wheelers?
Let's do it again! I'm retired and can ride most anytime. Do you recall if we rode Hwy. 22 when you were here last, or just the River Road to Hymel's?
No sir we only rode down River Road. After having lunch we rode on down to LaPlace to go on the Swamp Tour. We enjoyed our weekend there in BR and enjoyed meeting you guys as well. It was a quick reminder how hot the La summers can be.
