Hi , looking at picking up a set of CFRs this week and I'm very new to their pipes, I've emailed them twice but no response so I'm asking the masses. What head pipe and fuel mngmnt set up are you using and if you like it or would recommend something else? Thanks ahead, Todd
i absolutely loved my CFR's, i ran them with V&H dresser duals, S&S 570 gear drive cams and power vision dyno tuned. yes many will tell you that you lose power with them but dont let them scare you you. i was happy with my 98HP and 110 TQ
I have been waiting on my single fluted CFRs since mid December. Hope you are patient. I plan on running them with V&H dresser duals with the PV-2 tuner.
Running V&H's PD's with PCV..not sure of the loss of torque..i'm dyno'd at 87hp 108tq with SE 204's.. CFR's sound great!!!! Like others have stated..be patient unless you have a in!!!! Good Luck!!!!!!
Currently running CFR's with Fuel Moto 2-1-2 head pipe and tuned with the Powervision. Runs and sounds really good. I also have the DNA megaphones and they sound good as well and seem to perform the same as cfr's, according to the butt dyno. I also have a set of Rush Big Louies, and to me I can feel the difference in low end torque with the Big Louies, but they just don't have the CFR sound
At the end of last years riding season, I purchased a set of V&H Dresser Duals, but haven't installed them yet. I bought the dresser duals to change the look of the bike a bit, as the fuel moto pipe still retains the factory look, using the factory heat shields (which the dealer tech managed to break the exhaust shield clamping brackets during a service). Anyway, I've heard CFR's with the Dresser/True duals and they sound good as well. Can hardly wait for riding season to begin!
