Default 6 speed question?

Does anyone ( besides baker ) make an affordable, durable 6 speed tranny, complete, that will bolt in, on a touring bike like mine, 2006? I thought someone on here had one that was under a grand. Thanks....

Unfortunately, affordable and durable do not go together in the motorcycle transmission world.
RevTech makes one in your price range, but ithas a reputation for being a nightmare to install and far less than reliable.
I guess it's the old "get what you pay for" saying.
I'd wait, search EBay, classifieds, salvage list for a Baker or even anHD SE.

Yea..... I agree w/Bryan on that one.

Baker DD6 or the S/E. Both are fine units.

You didn;t go budget on your motor build, so the tranny's really not a good place to start going in a different direction....

Just remeber when Baker first introduce their 6 speed that they had to recall
everyone of their units because they used cheap gears. I sure they had learned
a lesson by now Just keep this in mind. Go H-D SE it will be worth it.
