I have an 07 RKC and my feet don't fit right on the floor boards. Most of my foots hangs way of the edge. It feels real uncomfortable. I am thinking about shimming them out a little maybe 1/2" to 1". Has anyone done this and does it create any new problems ? Thanks !.....CJ
I had to shim out my right floorboard to install the rinehart true duals. All is good on that side dont know about left side but i wouldnt see a problem with it.
I bought 1" spacers at Home Depot or Lowes ( don't remember which), painted them black and put them on with 1" longer bolts of course. It is much more comfortable and I have not had any problems.
I actually bought some plastic spacers that would fit the bolt and then a steel spacer that would fit over the plastic and then smaller steel spacers that fit the bolts that also hold the jiffy stand. I had to do it this way to more closely match the diameter of the floorboard brackets.
