I have the IST Tour-ist for my FLHXS. Took it out for the first time today and thought it was super comfortable. It's a touring seat, not what you are looking for, but quality and comfort on this one is top notch.
Firemedic - I was looking at the TourIST last week trying to decide between it and the C&C. I posted to see if anyone had any experience with it but did not get a reply. I would love to see some pictures of the TourIST on your bike. Please post pics.. Thanks!
I rode on a Danny Gray Speed Cradle for 80000kms on my 09 and loved it.Last july I put my 09 back to stock configuration when I traded her in on a new 14 Street Glide.I couldn't believe how comfortable she rode with the stock pillow seat and the original shocks on the 100km ride to the dealer.I found the 14 SG to be as comfortable on the ride home with stock seat and shocks. But I like the solo look,so I bought a Mustang Solo Tripper,I rode on it for a few months but didn't love it,so late last fall I bought a 15 SG CVO solo seat.I only got to try it out for about 100kms before winter set in here,,but my first impressions are,I like it.I can't wait to get on it again if the snow ever melts around here.

Webo, I have a C&C sport tour. I've loved it but still looking for something better after a 350 mile cruise last weekend. I ordered the Sport TourIST seat today, so,sit tight and I'll give a review once I get it.

Ok sounds good. I have a feeling i will end up with the C&C Sport Tour for around town with the wife or solo and order a TourIST for touring. The seat really looks like it will be all day comfortable.
Personally I have not sat on or road with a DG seat but I did have a custom seat done by someone local (So Cal Seats) for my Rocker and it was the best thing I could have done because I was able to pic the material and was able to sit on the bike to fit the seat to me & ride before getting it covered.I will be doing the same with the SGS this coming week with some bison in tan that was left over from one of the custom interiors that was done at the shop I work at.

I wanted to follow this post anyway so why not ask a question as well...Will the Harley rider backrest work with the Long Haul 2-up XL with Backrest Receiver or do I need to buy the DG backrest as well (deal breaker )?

DG seats are like Corbins - gotta use their backrests cuz the mount is built into the seat frame.
I ordered the lowIST leather, Sherry @ DG was outstanding in helping me choose the new seat, It sounds like everything I was looking for and she helped steer me in that direction. I will let all of you know when I receive how it sits.
Hammz, I have a 2014k as well and looking at the same DG seat for my bike. Question: does the seat shift you back and lower compared to the stock seat? or does it feel about the same? Thanks for any input you can share...

Significantly lower & slightly back. I've had 3 buddies buy this seat after sitting on mine. All 3 are very pleased with it.
