Hello everyone, I'm in need of a little help. I have recently purchased 14 inch apes and I don't know how long over should the cables for a 2004 RKCustom be. I have been looking for some time on this forum on adding apes but no one has talks about the RKCustom. Are the cables different then the classics or any other tour model? Any help would be appreciated.
Probably not much help but my 2008 Electra Glide (Electronic Throttle) has +6" brake lines & clutch lines. They're just a little too long for my 13" Cycle Smith bars but still work, my clutch adjustment is at the very end though. I would only guess you will be looking at +6" Cables also, including throttle/idle cables for your bike. I would wait for more input from others though.
