LOL, yes! That's a Vee Rubber. And that tire is much of the reason I sold the 21. I just couldn't get past putting such a crappy tire on a brand new bike!
Now, with the Wide White Wall tire selection coming around, I might give a 21 another try. And thanks for the props!
Agree 110% of the cheap *** Vee Rubber. I went back to black wall but 21" Metzler...now I am heading back to the WWW with Avon. We will see how it goes.
I just put a 21x 3.5 Roland Sands morris wheel with metzeler rubber and progressive monotube 2" lowering kit. Rides great and looks killer, couldn't be happier with the set up.
I'll weigh in with a good response when I get to work. Gotta get out the door before the traffic sets in. Quickly, 21" rides fine stock height or lowered. If it makes you uncomfortable you are over thinking it.

It's just like anything else. I put 20"s on my truck and it felt different.... for about 20 minutes. You get used to it, just like you'd get used to a new set of handlebars, seat, or anything else.
What does a 21 inch tire cost? I'm running the HD 19 rim and can only buy tires from them. The 19 inch tire cost a lot compared to the others out there

I paid 1100 for mine with both rotors that matched. That was through the dealer. I'm sure you could find a better deal than the dealer. Bought the bike and had them send it to paint, install the internal antenna and do the rim / rotor combo before I picked it up.
