I use to be very active here.. but was about to call it a day with riding. I know awful sounding, but after this last surgery on my ankle to reattach several tendons just didn't know if I could still do it.
Well good news after months of rehab the ankle works at about 90% better then it did before I went under the knife.
So no giving up "old blue" and I'm back now just have to get NJ to get these pot holes fixed and a new set of ties on "old blue".
Good luck on getting NJ to fix their pot holes - that is the reason I left and moved to Colorado 15 yrs ago...I do miss the great Italian food out in the Hoboken area...
Welcome back and glad to know that modern medicine has evolved enough to allow us to ride well into our retirement age and beyond.
Continue with the rehab and increase the flexibility.
Good for you bro. I understand how you are feeling.
I have a '95 ultra with well over 200K miles and now I have a '12 SG with only 11K.
I have had 5 surgeries since 2012 and haven't been able to ride like I used to with all of the rehab.
I'm hoping the VA will keep rebuilding me so I can ride like I used to...
Like someone else noted; keep up the rehab so you too can enjoy the wind.
