Default RKC Seat!!

We are picking up our new RKC this week and the Wife already is saying she is going to need a different seat. Also I'm looking for something lower to the ground for my self, any advice on what seat we should buy?

Thanks in advance, Jim

I've heard alot of people say they were real happy with the sundowner seat. If they have one at your dealer they might let you put it on and give it a sit, see if it works for ya.

corbin dual tour is killer. it will give you a wider platform, a longer ride, and drop you an inch. however, it will also move you back an inch or so. if you are reaching for the grips like i was, it will probably send you shopping for new bars. it is an expensve seat, but comes with built in backrest hardware for driver and passenger. no having to fool around wth detachable docking this or that. just pull pop on a backrest and off you go. i have one that goes from front to back depending on whos riding.

thanks for you replys, I will check out the seats.

Also we are have Dyna Wide Handle bars installed before we pick the bike up. This should bring them back quite a ways.

You might want to look at the C&C website. http://www.ccseats.com/
We have never had a complaint on their seats and they will lower your riding position about 1.25 inches.
Ifyou see something you like let me know and we will cut you a special forum price.

I recently replaced my Mustang with a Corbin and really like it.The Corbinhugs the frame better than the Mustang and puts me closer to the ground than the Mustang did. As far as comfort, both are comfortable seats, but I like the Corbin better and my wife and daughter are very comfortable on the Corbin too. Many riders say the Corbin takes awhile to break in, but I felt it was perfect right out of the box. I bought the Corbin Classic Solo, Passenger Pillion and Rider Backrest as shown in my signature.

By the way...congratulations on your new RKC!

I just put the Sundowner on my RKC after the wife requested a wider seat for her. Is looks just like the original with the weaving and consho but is wider and more comfy. Its leather too. Mama is happy now and as the old saying goes....
