I have been to two dealers and could not find a oil filter wrench to do
my first oil change. anyone know where i can find or order one??
would other wrench work like the one from auto supply???
I tried to find a wide flat strap type the fist time I changed the oil, but finally went with a narrow strap type from the local parts store (life at sometimes has limited choices in small town USA). The narrow, small, strap type wrench worked pretty good except the factory guy really concned it down and the stretch type strap really stretched before it would work the filter loose... Find the wide flat strap typie IMO...
Install a K&N oil filter and you will not need an oil wrench. The end of the K&N filter has a hex head to assist in removing it from the oil filter housing. Been using them for years and have had great results.
