thanks for the replies. I think this is the route i am going to go. One more question does HD make a longer set of wires to go with higher bars? So you dont have to cut and splice?
The wire extension kits are plug and play. You can buy extension kits through Harley or Namz. I would recommend them for the bars you are thinking of installing, makes the job easier.
As one of the other replies said, I upgraded my clutch and brake lines to stainless braided. It really looks nicer than the black rubber. I also did the chrome control housings.
If you want to use the fairing mirrors, you'll probably have to go with 14" (or 12" as Yaffe measures them) if you're under 6' tall. I am 6'3" and have 14" Vindiktas and I can see the bottom of the housing in my mirror, but I only lose about 10-15% of the mirror's usable space. Another inch would have been perfect for me.
