I think the gangster apes are a little taller than advertised. I'll have to measure mine. They're 16" bars according to Carlini.

Taller than they advertised for sure. Plus, they do not bend down and back like most other apes. For example...16"'s feel more like 18"'s.

Calculate an average of 1.5"-2.0" taller in Carlinis vs other brands. I have 18" and they are close to 20".

Mimo.

When I spoke with Carlini they told me only the flyin apes run taller ,but I have no first hand experience with there bars. One thing with gangster apes is that there are like 3 different end to end widths. The 1.50 bars are 41" end to end.the 1.25 stepped bars are like 39" end to end and the full 1.25 are the narrowest at 36.5 "end to end(which I like the most).I believe they all have a 11" center.Just more to think about.Good Luck
