I can't help myself. I have been looking at shocks for quite a while and found a used set of progressive 440s on ebay.
I started off just toying around and then I set my max bid for $200 shipped and ended up winning the auction.
Does anyone have any reviews good or bad on these shocks? I want to hear them all. Thank you guys and I look forward to hearing what you have to say.
I've heard great things about the Ohlins, especially from Howard. Eventually I will go that route but I have sunk too much money into other mods in the last few months (2 into 1 exhaust, biketronics speakers and amp, 13" bars) to go all out with the suspension currently.
I will give these a shot and if they aren't as good as I want I will give Howard a call and get his setup front and rear.
You guys sure know how to help a man spend his money. Thank you.
Addicted to upgrades huh? I bought my Electra in July of last year. Said "I'm just gonna ride it." Yeah right.....

Hahaha. The shocks are just the most recent purchase. You have quite a list going though. I would rather not add up everything I have done since I got this bike August of '13. Have fun with the mods.
Can't help you with the shocks as that is one thing I haven't felt the need to mess with other than to raise my rear by an inch to help with scraping in the twisties. As far as upgrades I venture to say I have spent more on my 01 over the years as many have on their bikes new or old. Currently going through another complete makeover/paint job. If I would have to guess the magic number would be about 35K to date.
