I have never had an issue finding it on any bike I've owned when it was needed.

When driving in town, I have my thumb there a lot in case a cage comes into my lane, or pulls out from a side street ready to "alert" them.
Yup, just what he said!!

Might be time for some enterprising forum member with a 3D printer to whip up some extended levers.

Batman I am glad to hear that I'm not the only one that has hit the horn button by mistake. Yes it does scare the crap out of you.

Yep! The Harley turn signal is in the exact location of everyone else's horn button.

If someone were to make and market a conventional turn signal switch and horn button controller for the left side of a Harley, I'd probably buy it.

The cop horn button is an improvement, but it's still pretty far down there. Especially for some of us more stubby type people.

I'm also going to go ahead and try modifying one of the stick on turn signal extenders onto the existing horn button.

I have never used my horn. In almost all instances I pull in the clutch and rap the throttle. The pipes get their attention more than the horn.

Its really bad when its a left turn lane change and the horn at the same time. Makes ya think you missed something and is about to get smacked by a damn bumper or fender.

On the interstate, whenever someone starts moving into my lane without seeing me, I let the car behind me know I intend to turn left.

I don't think so although the top of the housing are the same part number I believe. You could confirm this on a parts site like: http://www.cyclecityltd.com/oempartfinder.htm#

I suppose if one had the chrome housings you could use the tops with police controls although that might look a bit weird...

I haven't really had this problem. When I read the OP, I immediately thought MOCO had solved this with the availability of a Horn Button Extender. Checked the web and found its a Turn Signal Extender that's available.

My 2014 would be easy to glue a small sliver of plastic to the top portion of the left turn signal button. Just big enough to be able to be felt through gloves. Kinda like Typewrite anchor finger position indicators.

This would at least give you a cue as to weather you need to go up or down to find the right button.

However, the older setups are a little more trouble. I wonder if a turn signal extender could be used or refashioned to work.
