Had the HD Daymaker on my Softail, never really rode that much at night to test it. Wish that JW Speaker Evo2 Euro spec was available stateside, guessing the "position light" remains on like a parking light.

Hey bikerlaw...somewhat related, do you have anything to report yet? A couple of months ago when you did your Fuel Moto LED headlight report/comparo, you wrote and I quote:

I've been patiently watching

Oh, I am still working out the details. My idea is nothing that will surprise you, but will live up too its promise. The problem is I am working down in Charlotte, 300 miles away from my home and motorcycle, so I am behind schedule. When I get everything worked out, I will post up. Stay tuned.

Sounds good...I'll be watching & waiting. We're still in the grips of winter here anyway and at this rate, it will be May before the roads will be rideable. Hope you get home soon...sucks being away.

Spent the bucks and tried one of the Trucklite 7s a couple of months ago. Yea it's brighter but the light pattern was uneven and not smooth. Had a bright V-shaped pattern right in the middle of the low beam. Sent It back.

I based my decision to install the Truck Lite LED's based on seeing them on a friends Limited the same year as mine. When we road together at night his LED's lit the road better/brighter enough so that I decided to part with the cash. As will all Harley add ons they may not be right for some riders.

I did the JW Speaker Evo to headlight and absolutely love it there's noblind spot in corners that I really noticed. I also added the custom dynamics LEDs upfront for the turn signals and that gives a little extra cage visibility.

See, that's what I'm worried about. Oh well, we'll see I guess.

Thanks for all the replies folks!

Well worth the money!!!! Bright is not great for distance but throws a tremendous amount of light at night and is easy to to see in the daylight hours.. Dim with running spots is great at night..

For spots

For headlight.
