Default spot lights?..

do the spot lights really help that much with riding at night? or is it not worth it?

Yup ... they do. If you aim them right, they light the sides of the road up. They also **** people off .... but at least YOU can see better.

They are great. I leave in the AMs before sun-up and sure help. Don't use them in the fog, will blind you.

I flipped mine off the other night just to remind me how smart I was to install them. YUP, smart decision, it was like riding in the dark!

I can't ride at night much anymore... Eyesight just isn't there. But back in my 'Wild Bunch' days, the dressers would always take the point on night rides because of the spots.

My rk custom does not come factory installed with the passing lamps. I ride a lot in town and didn't think I needed the extra light, but I added them because I liked the look of them. Once I sat down and installed them and took it out for a night ride, I saw the 'light'...pun intended. I reallt see a difference and am very glad I added them. You wont be sorry.

Yeah they help! Depends on how you aim them...one Wing rider I ride with says he doesn't notice both lights when I am behind him...one or the other...why? Cuz I have them aimed to the side of the road, not the white line!
