717rfulton - looks like a phone call to Kuryakyn and talk with the tech. I wonder if the muffler inlet pipe or header was cut a bit too short. Will the left side muffler install correctly on the right side?
717rfulton-Keep us posted on how this works out. I'm running the High Output Rush pipes also. I was thinking of going with these mufflers also. Can you lay the heat shields on it and tell me if the pipes will clear the mufflers correctly ? I know that the heat shield won't work with stock style pipes only the type thats more tapered.
Have you thought about checking the Fitment, to see how much is going in. I have had to clean up the inside of a muffler more than once to get it on all the way. You have plenty of room on the rear hanger. Hope you get it.

+1
hangers on my stock mufflers and my Rush Big Louies both look like my mufflers are pushed on farther than yours if you go by the look of the hangers. Might need to do some more pushing and twisting to see if you can get them on farther
Fulton, I just put the mellow on mine with the s&s power duals, the went on further than that. They are 3/4 to the end of the hanger slot. I pushed them till they went past the slots of the entry side of the muffler.
I went with the mellows at the recommendation from GMR performance. I have a slightly modded 110 and wanted to quiet it down some. He is running them on his 120. I haven't gotten highway time yet but am planning some this week. So I will give a follow up and maybe a sound clip to.
Yes they clear the shields but that is as far forward as I can put them to do so. But to that point the right head pipe is well into the muffler by 3 to 4 inches, they will slide on alot alot farther tho with no problems. I'm kinda on hold for now til I get the engine together and started. I slid my rush and stock muffs on and they seal tight, didn't check the heat shields with them tho. I did buy a set of freedom performance American Revolution muffs and had to send them back due to a dent, but I did check fitment first and the would not clear the shields. Rick

Any chance I can get you to take a pic of your rush muffler side by side with a crusher from the top so that the bolt holes on top are lined up ? If that makes sense .
Ok, since the aren't big louies, how about just a measurement from the front bolt hole on the mounting bracket to the front edge of the muffler that slides on the pipe
