My '03 and '13 both have security and I do not believe you can reset the pin without the Pass Code after going through the proper procedure or get the pass Code without going to the dealer.

To reset the code with a TSSM equipped bike (with button fob), you will:
1) Set your kill switch to off
2) Quickly turn the ignition switch on, off, on, off, on
3) Immediately press and let go of the left turn signal switch twice (press, let go, press, let go)
4) Press and let go of your fob button twice (press fairly hard, it's designed to resist being pressed by keys and whatnot in your pocket)
5) Current PIN number will be displayed on odometer
6) Change the PIN by pressing the left signal until the desired number is reached
7) Press the fob button twice to cycle to the next number and repeat step 7
8) Press and let go the right signal and turn ignition off when 5 digit PIN is satisfactory
NOTE: Steps 2 through 4 must be completed in quick succession of each other.
Try this. With your security fob present, turn the ignition on, off, on, off. Hit the left blinker twice and the right blinker once. The code shoud show up in your odometer window.
Look through the manual and any other paperwork, I bought mine used and the original owner wrote it in the back of the manual. The other option would be to ask the dealer you bought it from for contact info on the original owner.

My '03 has the push button fob. When new it came with 2 security cards, 1 tells you how to turn off without the FOB the other is the number for a dealer to research and get the original PIN. Both are the size of a Credit Card, and the 1 with the PIN is folded in 1/2 with a picture of the FOB on the outside.
