Default alarm code reset

Hi,
Is it possible to get the manual alarm code re-set somehow ?
Got a new (to me) bike and have tried to use the alarm overide code but it appears that the previous owner has entered a code and i do not have it.
can the dealer re-programme it ?

My keyfobs are working fine but i wanted to know just in case i needed to use manual override in the future.

Thnaks everyone.

Should tell you in the manual how to do it, if someone doesn't chime in I'll get mine out.

With the fob present, you can read out the current code, and reset it to what ever you want.

1) Have your key fob near the bike
2) Set your kill switch to off
3) Quickly turn the ignition switch on, off, on, off, on
4) Immediately press and let go of the left turn signal switch twice (press, let go, press, let go)
5) Press and let go the right signal once
6) Current PIN number will be displayed on odometer
7) Change the PIN by pressing the left signal until the desired number is reached
8) Press the right signal to cycle to the next number and repeat step 7
9) Turn ignition off when 5 digit PIN is satisfactory
NOTE: Steps 3 through 5 must be completed in quick succession of each other.

I am so happy that my classic does not have that security system! My street glide had it and it was nothing but a PITA.
I could never remember the darn code! Or the battery would die in the fob.... Lol win win situation I suppose.

Birthdate make a great code, I mean WTF must drunks even know their birthdate and as for the fob battery being dead, it don't happen all that often and if it does, your owners manual has a removeable card in the back to show you how to override the fob.
