I've used S100, and it works ok to clean a bike that's not too dirty between doing detailed hand washes.

I'd rather do a detailed cleaning of my bike myself for a couple reasons, the biggest one is something I learned a long time ago when washing Navy planes. You don't just wash them to make them look good, washing them gives you a chance to check for cracks, loose fasteners and other problems. I've found a few issues that way over the years, and took care of them before they became big problems.

And, for me anyway, I find it relaxing to take my time and do it right. I've had my bike washed at dealerships as part of a service, and they never do it as well as I do, and I know it's done by the minimum wage "new guy" there, and they wouldn't know a loose bolt from a flat tire.

S100 is all I use on my bikes.
Wet bike
Spray S100 on everything
Wet sponge and scrub.
Rinse
Master blaster dry
S100 detail wax on the painted and powder coated parts
Ride
Repeat

I have used S100 for several years. However I just used the last drop and will not get any more. when first used about 7 years ago rinse, spray, rinse was all that was needed. Then slowly first some spot cleaning to a full wash became necessary. IMHO the formula changed as the road grime was not being removed completely. so if I have to do a complete wash anyway, then there is no need to spray on S100.

I don't know about S100 but the EPA has led to the demise of lots of good products like starting fluid, cleaners, paint, ETC.

I use S100. Works good for what it is. I usually clean the fairing off with some peroxide first to get the first few layers of bugs off.

Spray, pressure washer on low, leaf blower dry.

Have read plenty of stories of it ruining finish on bike. Make sure it's all rinsed off.

I like S100, it works well and I have used it for several years. To the OP, you need to remember that your bike is only fun if it is getting dirty. It needs to be used, a few bugs and crud on it are jus proof that you had fun.

I tried it a couple of times. I made the mistake of letting it sit 5 minutes or so and found it had scarred that tin type decorative metal piece located on the lower rear part of electra glide front fender. Looks like acid was poured on it. I figured anything that strong can't be good for any bikes painted parts.

Agreed, like I had mentioned previously, I find Spray 9 to do a better job, and it's never made a nark in anything I've used it on, including painted surfaces and windshields.

Any cleaner will take the wax/polish off even dish soap.
