Default S100 Total cycle cleaner review

I've noticed lately that I will postpone rides, or sometimes not go at all because the roads a wet and it will dirty up the bike, and it takes so much work to get it clean. I have even thought of just keeping her dirty all the time so I don't limit my rides.

Decided to try some S100, and it works. Mist on, hose off, and dry. I gotta say, for no elbow grease used, it does a great job. Not as good a a wash bucket and sponge though, but a lot faster.

Only thing that it didn't clean very well was chrome, but drying it off, it took care of what was left.

ll in all, I am happy with it, now I just need to force myself to let it drip dry and not care about the water spots, LOL

I've used S100 for years and found it to work really well. One thing I might note is that I have always sprayed the bike with water first, then sprayed the S100 on, let it sit a couple of minutes and then hosed it off.
Its an excellent product, not inexpensive but it does what they say it will.

I've always heard it cuts your wax off so that's kept me away from it. Perhaps we'll find out with this thread if that is true or just hearsay.

I have found that it works OK, but not great. Especially for the price of it. Personally, I like Spray 9. Same idea, wet it down and spray it on and let soak a bit. Works great when used with a pressure washer as well, especially with bugs, they just melt off. Also is the best thing I have ever found for tires. Wet them down and let soak, then pressure wash off. Tires will look brand new black again.

I love the stuff but only use it once or twice a year. I was told it strips off everything which makes sense given how it works. My favorite time to use it is before I put the bike away for the winter. Really gets into the places soap and water can't.

Ditto here. Been using it for years. Word of caution, don't use it on your windshield. It will cause the coating on the windshield to eventually start fading and or peeling. Ask me how I know.

I also spray the bike off first, apply it, let it sit for about 3-5 minutes, rinse off and then I wash the bike with the bucket and sponge. It works really good at getting the bugs and deep grime loose so it comes off with minimal effort. If I have time I also use the Meguiars Spray wax after I dry it off. It's quick and replaces any wax that the S100 might have stripped off. Can do all of this in less than an hour. I use the paste/liquid wax when I have a few hours to devote to really giving it a good/thorough wax job.

Hint, go to a Honda dealer or indy motorcycle parts house and buy Honda Brite instead. Its the same stuff (look at the small print on the label) and considerably cheaper.

I love S100...I wet the bike, S100 on all the non-painted surfaces (wheels, engine, anything chrome), quick bucket wash of painted surfaces, hose everything off. Takes probably 5 minutes. I then use my Metro Air Force Blaster to dry the bike off in a matter of minutes (best bike care invention ever!). Depending on my level of OCD that day, it's ready to ride as is, or I may go over the painted surfaces with a spray detailer and everything else with a soft towel to really shine up the chrome. Between the S100 and the Blaster, what used to be 1-2 hours of scrubbing and drying can be completed in a half hour or less. That leaves more time for riding!

I'd rather pay someone to wash my bike. That stuff sucks the hard one, especially the rims
