Just bought one today for the Ultra Limited Low. Had to drill two other holes for the kickstand to fit properly. Worked fine after that mod, then again this was day one. Seems to be good construction and for the price you cant go wrong.
I just got one. At first, I thought that the kickstand tray was about four inches too narrow to be able to extend the kickstand and lean the bike over. I figured out that the bike fits with the kickstand plate in the most forward holes without drilling new ones, but the front wheel needs to be turned over to the right, not the usual left.
Next issue people run into is that the dolly is too short to use the chock bars. I can't speak directly to that, as mine was an open-box special for $30 that was missing the ramps/stops. I went and bought some round bar and made my own hitch pins to fit through the holes that the fold down ramps would attach to. That gives me the couple extra inches of length I need to get it all to fit.
I just bought one for my 15 Ultra Limited Low. The length seems to work ok for me but I am having issues where my back tire seems a bit wide for the track. When riding off the dolly the rear tire rubs and wants to push the bike over. Since others with the same bike are reporting no issues I am sure it is my own inexperience.
I was looking into getting one of these as we have a road king and now a street glide in the garage. How easy is it to ride on/off and does the dolly move around easily?
I have one, and did have to modify the mounts for the kickstand tray, but after that it works like a charm. I only lower the rear ramp and ride on with no issues. It has never moved underneath the bike at all. You definitely need to be lined up though, the rear tire on my 2013 FLHTC just barely fits. I use it constantly, and have found I can get it on or off the dolly and rolled up against the wall in under 5 minutes. Works like a charm, and I am very happy to have it. Construction is very solid, and I expect it will last forever. Definitely worth the small investment.
I have one as well. My '09 doesn't fit well but it does work. My kickstand pushes up against the tray lip and I can't install the bar behind the rear tire. I am thinking of grinding out a portion of the lip to provide relief to the kickstand. It rolls okay if the floor is very smooth. It could use larger diameter wheels. Overall, its worth the price.
