Default Best light ??

Ok..... I have an 09 Ultra and want to change the headlight and the passing lamps. What is the best way to go? HD Daymaker? Are they worth the $$$, how about the Phase 7 ?

Thanks,
Jet

some of us ( well, me) don;t like the currently available LEDS...cost, narrow beam and hot/cold spots are issues I notice.

Currently running the dual halogen on my 09 and pretty happy with it- cost me about $70 from another forum member.

I agree that the current selection of LED's are not the greatest and there is room for improvement - but they are still better than the stock POS
I just put on a Truck Lite 7 light. works great, not as expensive as the Daymaker

+1 on the Truck Light. I don't have the passing lights on my bike but I do have the Custom Dynamics LED's in my turn signal that are white running lights.

Go with one of the reflector types. There are some good comparisons on eBay.

If costs weren't an issue I'd go with HD Daymakers, but for half the money I'm happy with my Truk Lites Phase 7's.

You may want to look at the JW Speaker Evo 2-

They make the Daymaker.... But the Evo 2 is way improved

Love my truck lights, did the head light and passing lamps, got them from Eastern for about half the HD set up
