Had this happen on mine after I got it back from engine rebuild. Another sign I never should have went there. Should be a piece of cake with an easy out.
He'd put a liberal amount of anti seize of the plug and after shooting some PB Blaser at the edges of it, and using the square tool to release it...the end it came right out. Not too hard at all. I packed the hole with grease to hold any metal shavings that came out...good thing...lots of shavings in the grease.
He had a scope that we were able to use to look into the head...a few particles in there...used a shop vac and a reducer to mount a straw to the end of the hose to suck out any other shavings. Totally clean.
When we went to intstal the new plugs we found that the torque was jammed and not working...tossed it out and used a regular ratchet...snugged it up like others have mentioned. I'll get some pictures in a bit and post them up.

Thanks again.
Awesome news! Hoping for many more miles on that baby
If he doesn't have the sense to not crank down a plug that hard, he has no business using an easy out of any other method of trying to remedy this. Hand it off to someone else.
