Sport Chrome & ***** Shiny offer an exchange service, but I too vote for the smooth leg look:
fI can see you got your parts from us. Looks good. That version of lower legs is what is on my glide too. The Ness Hot Legs are what we sell for that now. A little different but equally as nice.
I'm in favor of doing all this stuff at once as well. Did my wheel, rotors, legs, front suspension all in one shot.
I get great pricing on the Ness stuff and on the PM stuff so if youa re interested in non stock legs give me a shout.
looking to either exchange or buy a set of chrome lower legs for my street glide cant seem to find any on ebay for a 2009.any suggestions?
Here is a link to buy them from us on our website. I just made a coupon code to save forum members another $20. Use code "HDFmemberforks" at checkout. Let me know if you have any questions.
Many swear by Ricks on eBay. Others use *****. There are videos for ***** shine (featured/reviewed by bagger blog) that appeared in a thread for chrome lowers/forks a week or two ago. If you search this forum, you'll see them and the threads. I would heed the advice to do calipers, rotor, and lowers at the same time. No sense in repeating or paying for labor. Good luck and post pics.
I said screw it and replaced my upper & lowers with all chrome PM Tech, replaced the Calipers with PM chrome calipers as well as braided lines. WAY NICER LOOKING!!!!!
