Was in Houston this weekend to attend to a family matter, but got a call from the dealer Friday afternoon. My CFRs finally arrived after almost 4 months on backorder!
Just go back into town last night, so will be picking them up this afternoon and installing them tonight. It has been raining all day here, so won't get out on the road, but I will post garage pics.
I had been looking at the CFR slip-ons for some time but didn't want to wait all summer for them, so I opted to wait until supply started to catch up with demand.
I placed my order with phat performance on 2/9 and they shipped exactly 8 weeks to this day after the order was placed. Scheduled for delivery today!
Can't wait to install 'em and hear that rumble. BTW, I'm replacing the 3.5" Rineharts that were installed before I took delivery back in 2009. I liked the Rineharts but felt it was time for a change.

Wow, they were on order via my dealership since 12/26. They came in last Friday. Either CFR is catching up, or my dealer was overlooked.
Anybody ever open them up and have a look inside? Are the baffles wrapped? A photo looking through would be good also. Save me form crawling around on the ground next time I see a bike with em parked.

I actually looked inside from the header pipe side and it looks to me like there is some sort of wrap around the baffles. I didn't look for long...too excited to get them installed and fire up the bike!
