I've got an oil temp gauge and keep an eye on it...it's what us OCD folks do. (Also have the HD oil cooler w/chrome cover installed.) The fans work and look better than the other options out there, and it has already been pointed out, the customer service is second to NONE!
I'd buy them again.
I have them on two bikes. They work very well. In fact I was surprised how well they do work. I have the thermal switches on both of them and leave them on full time and let the thermal switch control them. Customer service from Jason has been top notch in my experience. I won't have another bike without them.

Agreed! Thats exactly what I am going to do. I sold my bike with the intention of putting them on my CVO 110, but the guy talked me into selling them to him. So now I have to replace them.
But are they not using the temp sensor in the head any more? I see on the site you can get a oil cooler thermostat instead?
