Wow.....42 minutes and chock full of errors, misinformation, lack of information and poor shop practices. Torque specs........caliper - you don't have to get em that tight....snug up up real good, axle - "I know how much to do it" Never mind leaving the full weight of the wheel pulling on the brake rotor and fighting the weight of the wheel instead of using the jack.
..............no harm no foul? ha! Using the jack to install the wheel is risky in the extreme! Deflate the tire and grease the tire with mechanic's hand soap then lift the wheel into position. The soap reduces the friction between the tire and the brake caliper. Ensure the axle nut is torqued.
about 130 to 150$ (tire, tube, strip) and 3 pry bars from harbor freight. total 130 to 150 online
total start up for some wrenches, pry bar, weights, i dont remember but under 100.
if your retired and have lots of time on your hands can change any tire,I look forward to changing tires.haha
Where there's a wheel..there's away..haha
I plan on using zip ties to get them off the rims. normally a tire, be it a 22.5 truck tire or 15" you can get them on with lube and soft mallet...but my son has some lowpro 18" on his car (the ones you can't tell if there flat or not by looking) those tires the michines can't hardly get them on the rim... we will see. I can always loadthemup and bring to an Indy
