My son and I are going for the 1st time. He is 19 finishing his 1st year of college (Mechanical Engineering). I have been waiting for this trip since he was born. Doing two weeks leaving Ohio then riding Wyoming (Yellowstone)(Devils Tower) and Montana (Beartooth Pass) then back into South Dakota. We are staying in Rapid City at the South Dakota School of Mining. Got a great deal on a dorm room. Going to do mostly riding. Going to take in at least one night at the Chip for a show. Thinking Skynyrd. See ya all there!
So what is it costing you to stay at the dorm on Campus and who would I contact? Private message is okay.
Thanks
Does anyone have info to share on Lamphere campground, facilities esp sh*tters and showers, shade, places to sit out a storm, moon dust, etc? Also about the service available in a few of the campgrounds where they provide the tent and a couple cots (think it's called Contentment...clever huh?!)? Would appreciate any info. Thanks.
.
We stayed there 2 years ago, lots of shade, outhouses were outhouses, shower house was ok, café and store onsite, we are staying there again this year. We partied pretty hard so not sure on the noise as I can sleep anywhere thru almost anything
Its right next to Glencoe and across from Full Throttle, not bad for the money...
