I lost mine twice. The second time it fell off (yes, I had glued it), I used Black Permatex silicone to form a new bump stop on the right side of the chrome tab. If you squeeze a good size blob onto the tab, you can form it into a decent shape with your finger if you keep it and your finger soaked in soapy water. I lost two in two months but the silicone is still there after two years.
