Driving myself nuts about oil....
The issue of having warranty problems is what is actually driving this....clearly, you don't need to have the work done at the dealer...but, and a big but, if you have a problem down the road (no pun) not having the 1k done at the dealer could 'complicate' things....or so I am told.
PRIMARY oil in the primary
Gear oil in the gear box
Amsoil or Mobil1 are both excellent choices for the engine
HD F+, or any PRIMARY specific fluid, I really like Red Line Syn Primary fluid for the primary
Amsoil SevereGear 75w-110 or 75w-140, or Red Line with Shock Proof are among the best for the trans.
There are literally a thousand combinations, do some reading here, and come up with your own 1,001st.
This should drive you COMPLETELY over the edge.....

The only next step that engineers can think of is to start the rotation on oil then air inject to float the crank on a thin cushion of air.
With all factors of use, care and miles the same the TC will last as long on syn, mineral oil of any brand of the proper spec'd oil.
With that in mind I choose the $3.98/qt. of Valvoline 20-50 MC oil for all my engines from the EVO's to the 120R. 30K miles a year between them for year after year and absolutely no issue. I do all the services myself and save a small fortune as I average 6 services per year. I come in at under $40 per service. You all know what 6 services would cost at the dealer.
This is my garage where all the work is done.

I document all the services done on under warranty bikes/vhehicles with pictures of the service manual, tools, oil and also do a log of each item to be checked on the particular service and what the findings were.
I would defy any attempt not to cover a warranty claim do to the dealer not doing the service.
