What are the differences?!?!
Hey all-- I'd like to know from members and riders here, the MAIN differences between the Street Glide and Street Glide Special? I've asked a Harley sales rep, but they went on about gibberish, and pushed the MORE EXPENSIVE model, of course! I have yet to test ride the Street Glide, but like the styling and accesories it has.

Special has different color options, painted gloss black inner fairing, better suspension, in HD standards that is, 6.5 radio with navigation, abs and security I believe that was it.
Myself I wanted the daytona blue pearl which wasnt a option in the special, so I ordered it all when i ordered the bike. Only parts I didnt get was the fairing and the suspension, both of which I will be upgrading myself down the line.
Yes it cost me more but being 43 and this being the first NEW thing Ive ever bought for myself I went all in on it.
