Default Practicing tight U-turns

What is the safest and best way to practice tight turn like you see Jerry "the Motorman" Pallatino do it. I am too chicken to drop my brand new 2015 SGS.

Empty parking lot, Some guys will duct tape some carpet scraps on engine guards. Of course the best way is to have some experience on other bikes before droping a bundle on on a new ride.

Take a Rider's Edge Skilled Riders Course. They will teach you tight turns, without dropping your bike. Nobody in my class dropped their bike.

Buy one of his "Ride Like A Pro" videos. They are worth it.

You can then take your bike out to an empty parking lot and practice exactly what you watched in the video.
He explains it all very well.

Empty parking lot as mentioned and watch some videos about where to look and how far to turn your head and finding the friction zone it's all about practice. Less gas in the tank remove bags use some heater hoses to protect the guards and don't be afraid to lay it down and also important learn how to lay it down without falling and getting hurt.

Oh and you gotta accept the fact it's gonna happen sooner or later. I recently dropped mine in a parking lot. First time since 1984 but it does happen.

Start in a vacant parking lot, evenings or week ends. Try u turns in a lined 3 wide parking space(should equal aprox. 27 feet) keep doing it till your confident, then start tightening up the u turns till you can do them in 2 wide spaces which is aprox. 18 feet. You will surprise yourself how quick you master this after a couple hours, doubtful that you drop that new bike. The more you practice the better you get. I did this every weekend for a month unbelievable great results and I was 68.
