girlfriend won't ride anymore until it has a backrest. I was looking on eBay and Amazon. Are they all pretty much the same? I have 2 point docking hardware. I dont want to buy from the dealer. Thanks
I don't know about the aftermarket backrests but you can find a good used HD backrest in the classifieds on this site or on ebay for a good price. I'd stick with the HD backrest if it were me.
Go with a Mustang. Me and my wife shopped extensively and tried different backrests and seat combinations for my Road King, only to go back to Mustang seats in the end. I noticed that I had more room in my seat when we used the mustang back rest. When we had the Harley backrest on, it seem like I was hitting the back of the tank with my crotch. They are still the best in my opinion, and she is comfortable, allowing us to ride longer without stopping. You get what you pay for.
