Default Aftermarket Passenger Backrests

I have been debating if I should get a "aftermarket" passenger backrest or the HD "wallet buster" backrest. Reviews of both are hit and miss. Whats everyone thoughts?

I have had the HD on the last two touring bikes that I have had and Liked them. I like the quick detach feature and the fact that I can use the quick release luggage rack.

I really like my HD adjusting backrest but recently my friend was in the want for one but couldn't pony up the loot for the HD. I came across the site of Grasshopper limited that sells seats for most bikes for just under a hundred bucks.

Well it came and the install on his 2014 Ultra was a snap. And I have to say, not a bad backrest for the money. Worth a look.

I have been looking at that one. Can you easily remove the luggage rack? Looks like 4 small bolts? Is the lean angle adjustable in small increments or does it only have a couple of positions?

It seems good since it requires only the smaller 2 point dock (looks better then the 4 imo) and will cost less then buying a 4 point and back rest and separate luggage rest.

In the past I've just searched on eBay for the Harley passenger backrest part numbers and been very pleased with what I've gotten from a price and quality perspective. Knock off, stolen or used, whatever, always seem to be quite good.
