I have a 07 Street Glide and my left mirror gotbroken. HD wants to charge me 1.5 hours labor to fix. Now I was wondering if anyone has done this and if so, how hard was it. I dont have the Manual yet but I will order it, but in the mean time, can i just remove the outer faring and replace the assembly? Can anyone give me some advice? I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks.
As far as repairs go this should be an easy fix. Buying the manual to show you how to take off the outer fairing and doing it your self will save over the 1.5 hrs labor.
sm cant go wrong, just read some threads on this too and the part about covering everything up to avoid scratches. should be a easy/fun little project for a rainy day
